WWE's fickle and biased fans

This is a disease I've warned my friends about for a long time. It's a virus that has spread across the WWE Universe and has ruined good WWE Diva's (like Michelle McCool) reputations and raised up Divas with bad wrestling skill (like the Bella Twins). This problem is: 'Fickle Fan Syndrome'. Let's start with Michelle McCool.

Remember face (good) Michelle McCool back in '07 when she smiled in every photoshoot and had almost every fans heart, but didn't wrestle as well as she does now?

By now, we all know the heel (bad) Michelle McCool who looks at us in every photoshoot like 'What the hell are you lookin' at?'. The Michelle McCool which every fan hates, but has much better wrestling skill than before and speaks more than any other Diva (excluding Vickie Guererro) in recent WWE history (and no, I'm not being a Michelle-mark, it's the truth).

If they loved her so much, shouldn't they be happy for her that she's gotten much better wrestling-wise than she was in '07? Yes, when she turned heel they had a valid reason for booing her, she hit the sweet (by now released) Diva Maria Kanellis (and Everybody Loves Maria). But, why would they keep on booing her, even though they know that shes acting (well, most fans know she's acting)? You don't see TNA fans boo 'The Beautiful People' all the time (at least when Angelina Love was the leader). The problem is simple and common. The diagnoses is 'Fickle Fan Syndrome'. It's a disease that wrestlers fans get that can wipe out most of their fanbase. The cause? Pure and simple, because the wrestler has turned heel, nothing more. The fans are so hooked on the good girl winning (no matter how weak she is) that they'd rather have Divas like Brie and Nikki Bella (who are the lowest on the WWE food chain) win over Divas llike Michelle McCool. Prime example:

(For people who don't know, the blonde one's Michelle and the brunette is Brie, I believe)

Another fierce pick of Michelle.

People with 'Fickle Fan Syndrome' would rather the weaker girl win over stronger girl, for the mere fact the weaker one is a face. Would Chicago Bears fans rather some unknown losing college team win over their home team, just because the quarterback is too cocky (sorry, if I confused some of you)? Here's an example of the Bella Twins power (or lack thereof):

Oops sorry....Wait, is this a picture of one of them trying to land a dropkick or one of them getting thrown?

Okay, here we go. Way to go, Brie or Nikki (Because we all know that they cheat).

Do fans diagnosed with 'FFS' know what that has done for the Bellas? Nikki now has an undefeated streak of 21-0, the best undefeated streak in ALL OF WWE and Brie's right behind her with 20-1 (she lost to Maryse once). That's right, more than Undertaker, Beth Phoenix, and John Cena. Are you proud of yourselves, fickle fans? Are you? Okay, okay, so that was WWE's fault, not yours. Like they always listen to what the fans want....

Anyway, on to a Diva who seems to have fallen prey to 'Biased Fan Syndrome': Gail Kim.

Sexy, strong, intelligent. Everything a Diva should be and WWE paid top dollar for her to join them again. But, the fans don't seem to like her. Is it because she was a heel when she left (Fickle Fan Syndrome) or is it just because she came from TNA (Biased Fan Syndrome)? Let's take a look at Gail's wrestling skill....

Bam!

Boom!

Anyway, how could fans dislike a Diva with undeniable wrestling skill and not be biased toward the Divas? She's a face, she has natural wrestling skill, and she's beautiful. And, it's not just the fans who don't like her, it seems like WWE isn't too fond of her also. After she feuded with Maryse (at the Divas pillow fight) Gail, Eve, Kelly came out to Kelly's entrance theme. WTF? What the heck did Kelly do to deserve them coming out to her theme? Yes, she's the most popular out of the three (mostly because WWE shoved her down our throats with all the promos, Jerry Lawler's gushing about her, and the 7-11 CM), but Gail was the one who feuded with Maryse for the title. Kelly was in extra matches on 'Superstars' that didn't even matter. And also, I think Gail and Maryse deserved a showdown together in the match, instead the only showdown they had was one little pillow slap Gail gave Maryse to the back while Maryse was laid out on the mat....*Sigh* Come on, people. Gail Kim put the Knockouts division on the map, I think she deserves a little more respect than that. If she did that for the Knockouts, think about what she can do for the Raw Divas who need serious help.

The only reason I can see why the fans and WWE seem to not like Gail is because of 'Biased Fan Syndrome', they don't like people who come from TNA. Another reason why she isn't liked very much may be because she's an Asian-American, but I don't like to bring the race card up often and will save that for another blog. Until then, support Divas like Michelle McCool and Gail Kim (or the Bellas if you want) because they're good wrestlers, not only if they're faces. And, become immune to 'Fickle Fan Syndrome' and 'Biased Fan Syndrome' by keeping your mind open.

CandieCoated Kisses,
Layla
