I'm on the border of infatuation to actually being 'in like'....

Yeah, I just did y'all like that (at least the girls).

I say I'm infatuated with Taeyang (Young-bae Dong) because I've just gotten into Big Bang this year and I don't know them all that well yet and I say 'in like' because I can't claim that I'm in love with someone that I don't know. I've told Alicia that I've liked a lot of guys (from Cody Rhodes to Jin Akanishi to U-Know Yunho and now Taeyang), so when I told her that I liked Taeyang, it was kind of no surprise to her and she probably expects it to change again soon. But, I think Taeyang is going to stay at the top of my 'Wanted Men' list because he has everything I've ever wanted in a man. When I like a group I want to know the people I'm listening to, so when I watched subbed videos of Big Bang on Youtube and looked for little facts about them, I found out that Taeyang was my ideal man. My ideal man has to be a Christian, nice, dedicated, well-mannered, modest, a little shy and him being a virgin too would be nice. Taeyang's all of those things, so that's why I'm 'in like' with him. Plus, his smokin' hot body is nice too, right? XD

*Sigh* Part of me is worried that I've been so into idols and hot pro wrestlers that normal guys just won't compare.

Besides, it's hard to surpass this:

Oh, and this:

It just got PG16 in here! XD

If I ever met him, the chances of us getting together would be 5%, unless it was God's will for us to be together. I can tell you from experience that two shy people can't talk to each other, at least not for a full conversation. I've lost a lot of potential boyfriends from being shy. I hope if I ever meet him (because I plan on going to a Big Bang concert sometime in my lifetime) that he shakes my hand (Taeyang has said before that if he meets a fan that he likes, he'll shake her hand) and on that day I'll probably die. Kidding, but that would be the best day of my life!

XOXO (That's how I'm ending every blog about a cute boy, hugs and kisses for him and you),

Girl Crushes vs. Lesbianism

First of all I AM NOT a lesbian and have nothing against them, I'm just here to stick up for girls who are teased by their friends for finding a girl beautiful (but, not sexually attractive). A girl crush is where a girl finds another girl very beautiful, but not sexually attractive. Lesbianism is where two girls find each other sexually attractive and love each other, like a man and a woman do.

I admit, I have a few girl crushes.

Maryse: You have to admit, it's not bragging if she can back it up and even though Maryse is not the sexiest woman alive, she is sexy (But, does she sexually attract me? No.)

Layla El: WWE's English Muffin is very hot and she can be so adorable! (But, does she sexually attract me? No.)

That's about it when I really think about it. Those are my girl crushes, now this....

Taeyang (for the record, definitely not a girl): OMG, what's not sexy about Young-bae? (But, does he sexually attract me? Is that a trick question? HECK YES!!!)

So, there you have it, my break down of girl crushes. Don't tease your friend or make her seem like a lesbian just because she admires another girls beauty, it makes people feel insecure and self-conscious. So next time your friend says 'Oh, that girl is pretty', don't say 'Ooooh, you like a girl!' because in all actuallity they don't. They just think that person is just plain cute or sexy, they're not sexually attracted to them, like a man is to a woman and vise versa.

Layla

Dang it.....

I tried to stop it. I asked God why did I feel this way. I hate proving myself wrong and was in denial about this for some time, until last month. Now, I have finally embraced the fact that I find G-Dragon attractive.

I can imagine his cocky-self taunting me now (if by some slim chance we ever met and I told him this), grinning like 'Haha, you like me~'.

Anyway, a certain person on twitter (she's knows who she is) opened my eyes to the fact that even skinny boys can be cute. I'm a sucker for cute smiles on boys and when GD smiles, he makes my heart melt.

I don't care if he's cocky, as long as he's not a full on jerk. I can handle cocky men because I'm a very modest person and that would even us out. G-Dragon makes me smile everytime I see him, he's funny, adorable, and can be very sexy. But, it's stuff like this....

Friend: 'Oh, is that your boyfriend?'

Me: 'Yeah.....'

Don't act like you wouldn't be embarrassed if you brought him to an event with hair like that!

When I embraced the fact that I liked him, I was surprised at myself, but I have to admit that it was a pleasant surprise. I don't usually go for cocky guys (aside from Jin Akanishi) and definitely not skinny guys, but GD is an exception. Though humble, I'm too proud to ever say that to his face (if I ever met him). If I met him, I wouldn't know what to say at all.

That's all I wanted to say and I'll leave you guys with this:

XOXO,
Layla

My cousin Alicia and I made a petition for WWE to treat the Divas fairly (because we all know the Divas want to keep their jobs, so they can't say anything about it). If you're a wrestling fan, you should help us.

Link: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/treatdivasfairly/
Here's what I wrote about it:

______________________________________________________________________________

I think everyone knows by now that World Wrestling Entertainment's women's division (aka the WWE Divas) are treated poorly compared to the men in the WWE. No one seems to be speaking up about it except passionate, loyal, fans and even former Diva Maria Kanellis got the word out on how they wouldn't even listen to the Diva's opinons. Shouldn't a company care about their employees happiness? WWE doesn't treat everyone fairly, but the Divas definately got the short end of the stick. It seems to be, understandibly, taboo for them to speak about it (they want to keep their jobs). So, as their fans, shouldn't we speak up and stand up for them?

Some of the top problems Divas face in WWE:

The circle of champions:

The circle of champions is literally a circle. WWE is known (even in the men's division) for circling the championships around, favoring a select few Divas to win either the Divas or Women's title, and letting a new Golden Girl in once every few years. These women are very good wrestlers and some of the best in their industry, but other girls train very hard to get an opportunity to do that also. Here are the current circle members:

Mickie James
Melina
Maryse
Michelle McCool
Beth Phoenix

The championships revolve around these Divas and these Divas only right now and that's not fair to other Divas who joined WWE, wanting to win a title, and have undeniable wrestling skill. Here are the list of potential champions.

Natalya
Alicia Fox
Gail Kim
Serena
Jillian
Katie Lea
And more...

WWE almost didn't make Michelle McCool the first Divas champion, her boyfriend Mark Callaway (aka The Undertaker) put in a good word for her to the higher ups and they gave her a shot because Mark was a respected wrestler. Now, Michelle McCool is one of the top Divas in the WWE and has made a very entertaining women-only stable called 'Simply Flawless'. It's been very long since the Divas alone have entertained people that much and that only happened because someone spoke up for Michelle. How many other great Divas will WWE pass by, like they almost passed by Michelle? How many other great Divas have they passed by already? They've already released some women, who are now successful TNA Knockouts.

Promoting a select few Divas:

WWE is also known to promote girls with prettier faces, yet don't wrestle as well as the other Divas. Examples of more promoted Divas (ex: puts them in commercials, let's them win more matches, talks more positively about them, makes them the face of the Divas division):

Kelly Kelly
Brie and Nikki Bella

This short list speaks alot on how little WWE actually promotes the Divas. When they do, they promote Divas that the fans don't necessarily like (except little kids), which may lead WWE to believe that the fans don't care about the Divas in general when the only thing wrong is a bad choice of Divas. Another example of bad promoting is WWE let Nikki and Brie Bella win so much, that Nikki has a 21-0 record in all of WWE, with Brie trailing behind with 20-1. That's more than John Cena, Undertaker, and Randy Orton have. The Bella twins are the lowest on the WWE food chain, they can't wrestle very well and WWE knows it. There's a rumor going around that the Bellas are Vince McMahon's favorite Divas, but (even if it's true) the Bellas are not the fans favorite Divas, so that may cause fans to protest against the Divas division in anger. Just because of that fact.

Questionable racism:

Hardly anyone can remember the last time an African-American Diva was a face (excluding Layla El's short run as a face) and the last time an African-American or Asian Diva won a title. There are only two African-American Divas and two Asian Divas in WWE right now:

African-American Divas:

Alicia Fox
Layla

Asian Divas:

Gail Kim
Savannah

WWE seems to be doing nothing with either race of Divas, but sending them on wild goose chases for the titles. Most of these women have undeniable wrestling skill and deserve to be champions, but WWE doesn't seem to want the same. Shouldn't the best employees get promotions? Isn't that how a job works? Well, to the Divas winning the title is like getting a promotion. Is this racism? No one knows and we're not accusing WWE of being racist (but, let's not forget the racism Bobby and Kristal Lashley faced during their time in WWE).

Our point is....

The Divas can't stand up for themselves, unless they go on a strike or quit, because WWE will fire them. So, we have to stand up for their rights for them. Don't you want to see matches and storylines like there were in 2006 and before? The Divas are probably wishing the same. Now's not the time to be lazy and say 'Oh, someone else will help them, I'm too busy'. Has someone helped them in the last 4 years? No, so we have to do it. We're their biggest fans, and as their biggest fans we need to do something about the sexism in WWE, and petition that the Divas be treated fairly in the WWE.
